Mobeus is proud to announce that it has won ‘Small Cap Deal of the Year’ at the 2026 RealDeals Pivate Equity Awards for the realisation of its investment in Star Brands, the business behind the iconic Pink Stuff brand.
This award recognises the remarkable growth achieved by Star Brands over the course of our six-year partnership. During that time, Mobeus worked closely with the management team to support investment in leadership, strategic acquisitions and international expansion, helping to build the business into a scaled international platform.
Under our ownership, Star Brands expanded into more than 120 countries worldwide, increased sales five-fold and grew profits 15x. A key milestone in that journey was the acquisition of the company’s US distributor, which further strengthened its international reach and commercial platform.
Mobeus subsequently exited Star Brands through a sale to a large, listed US company for £345 million of upfront consideration, plus an earnout. The investment delivered the largest return in Mobeus’s history.
