Mobeus Equity Partners-backed Orbital Internet Group (“Orbital”) has acquired Leisure Park Internet Solutions (“LPIS”), the Harrogate-based specialist provider of internet connectivity to holiday parks and leisure venues across the UK.
The acquisition marks a further important step in Orbital’s strategy to improve connectivity standards across UK holiday parks and marinas, bringing together greater scale, specialist expertise and strong customer relationships to deliver a high-quality experience for both park owners and guests.
Headquartered in Kent, Orbital is a leading provider of high-speed internet solutions across the UK, with a strong presence in leisure venues alongside business and residential markets. The group has a strong track record of delivering reliable connectivity in rural and hard-to-reach locations through a combination of organic growth and targeted acquisitions.
With the addition of LPIS, Orbital now provides connectivity to around 360 parks, supporting more than 70,000 end users nationwide. The transaction builds on Orbital’s momentum following the acquisition of ClubWiFi in 2025, further strengthening its national footprint and reinforcing its position in the leisure and tourism connectivity market.
Orbital’s specialist leisure division will now comprise LPIS, ClubWiFi and Vfast Parks, Orbital’s dedicated holiday park brand, providing broader national coverage, enhanced network resilience and continued innovation for customers across the sector.
Guy Blackburn, Partner at Mobeus Equity Partners, commented: “Mobeus is delighted to continue supporting Orbital’s buy-and-build strategy, bringing together complementary businesses with strong reputations, high-quality infrastructure and longstanding customer relationships. The acquisition of LPIS reflects our commitment to backing scalable platforms in attractive, consolidating markets, and we look forward to continuing to support the Orbital team as they expand the group’s capabilities and reach across the leisure and tourism sectors.”
