Belle Lonsdale joins as an Investment Manager from buy-and-build platform Sumer. As an M&A Associate there, she worked on ten completed deals with enterprise values of £3m to £60m, carrying out detailed in-house financial due diligence on nine of them. Before Sumer, Belle spent over four years in KPMG’s Transaction Services team in Manchester and London, where she qualified as a Chartered Accountant. As an Assistant Manager, she led buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence for corporate and private equity clients. She holds a degree in Chemistry from the University of Bristol.

Laura Denman joins as an Investment Executive from SI Global, where she was a Senior Analyst advising predominantly on sell-side transactions. She completed six deals with values of £10m to £150m across the technology, marketing, media and creative services sectors, and her work included valuation, financial modelling, returns analysis and offer evaluation. Laura advised the sellers on our investment in Big Potato Games, so she already knows Mobeus well from the other side of the table. She previously worked as an Economist at S&P Global Market Intelligence and holds a First-Class degree in Economics from the University of Southampton.

Ashley Broomberg, our Managing Partner, shares, “As Mobeus 3 gets under way, we are investing in the team to support a growing pipeline. Belle brings rigorous financial diligence and hands-on acquisition experience, and Laura combines strong analytical skills with first-hand experience of running competitive sale processes. Both will add real depth to how we assess, execute and support our investments.”
