Mobeus-backed Assured Underwriting Group, a leading provider of financial protection insurance to the travel sector, is pleased to announce the completion of two strategic acquisitions: Kaera, a German insurance specialist, and TIE, a UK-based travel brokerage. These bolt-on acquisitions mark a significant milestone in AUG’s growth strategy, expanding its capabilities for European travel businesses.
Founded in 2002, Kaera has established itself as a trusted partner to German tour operators and travel agencies, specialising in surety and liability insurance. The acquisition brings Kaera’s longstanding insurer relationships into AUG, strengthening its presence in the DACH region and diversifying its client base.
TIE, a boutique UK travel brokerage, complements AUG’s existing operations, deepening its presence with UK clients.
