Mobeus picks Parsley Box for £3 million
Quality nutrition brand helps elderly remain independent and in their own home
Mobeus has invested £3 million of growth capital in Parsley Box, which delivers quality ambient meals directly to the UK’s growing elderly population.
Parsley Box offers a range of more than 80 different ambient meals that keep for six months without being frozen and delivers straight to consumer nationally via next day delivery. Customers benefit from easier product storage, a better selection of meals and an on-demand service, contributing to a more independent and healthier lifestyle. Founded in 2017, the business is delivering a revenue run rate of over £5 million per annum, and has completed 130,000 orders for over 75,000 customers.
Parsley Box is set for further substantial growth following the cash injection. The investment will be used to accelerate product development, customer acquisition and recruitment.
Adrienne and Gordon Macaulay founded Parsley Box out of frustration in finding a meal solution for Gordon’s mother.
The investment was led by Amit Hindocha, Investment Partner, supported by Joshua Henshaw, Investment Executive.
“Mobeus was impressed with the growth rate that Parsley Box has achieved in a very short time. The business is meeting a very real need for a quality elderly nutrition brand for this growing demographic.
“The brand allows Parsley Box customers to remain independent and in their own home while freeing them from the time-consuming preparation of meals.”
Parsley Box was advised by finnCap, which introduced the investment to Mobeus.

“The traditional meal delivery services we saw were both very expensive and suffered from slow delivery. Parsley Box has reinvented the service by offering next day delivery and a wide range of meals for customers just like my mother.”
