Mobeus named Private Equity House of the Year
Mobeus is delighted to have been voted by the corporate finance community as the Private Equity House of the Year for the second year in a row at the South East Insider Dealmakers Awards 2016.
During the year, Mobeus sold Westway Services (6.8 x money) to US based ABM and Tessella (2.9 x money) to French company Altran Group. Mobeus has now sold nine companies to trade buyers and private equity firms in less than two years. The nine realisations have delivered a 3.1 x money multiple for Mobeus-advised clients of £120 million in proceeds from £39 million at investment cost.
Mobeus continued to be a very active investor in the South East over 2015, including the investments in Access-IS (£11m investment), Jablite (£5m investment) and MBI (£12m investment). In total Mobeus has invested £37m over the year.
Chris Price, who collected the award on behalf of Mobeus, said:
“We really appreciate the support our friends in the South East corporate finance community have given us over the last year and feel honoured that they have helped us win this award yet again.
We continue to invest in our own business to expand our offering to the SME space and look forward to a very busy 2016 working alongside our corporate finance colleagues.”
